Birmingham City Council are inviting suitably qualified and experienced organisations to express an interest for the Provision of Service Packages in Care Homes With and Without Nursing for Persons under the age of 65. CARE HOMES WITH NURSING - Homes regulated and registered by the Care Quality Commission, to provide the same help and assistance with personal care as those without nursing care but they also have professional registered nurses and experienced care assistants in constant attendance that can provide 24-hour nursing care services for more complex health needs. These homes are for people who have been assessed as requiring a health care professional (nurse) delivering elements of care. CARE HOMES WITHOUT NURSING Homes regulated and registered by the Care Quality Commission where people live either short, temporary or long term. The homes provide help and assistance with personal care, continence management, food and diet and simple treatments. Flexible Contracting Arrangements shall commence on 1 May 2018 and will remain open for applications until 31 March 2021 without the need for either party to give notice, unless terminated earlier in accordance with its terms. Endorsed Better Business Case Expert Practitioners and Reviewers
Inland Revenue is moving into a phase of increased requirements for the development of business cases that comply with the Better Business Case (BBC) methodology and standards. To support our transformation and our on-going business needs we need to ensure that we have access to International BBC Standards Board accredited BBC Expert Practitioners and Expert Reviewers in order to satisfy increasing demand for these services. The purpose of this procurement is to setup a new category panel to facilitate the efficient, effective and timely supply of BBC accredited expert practitioners and expert reviewers. We are looking for suppliers with the right accreditation and experience. Applications to join the BTAP will be assessed on certain mandatory requirements (pre-conditions) such as solvency, tax compliance and insurance cover. Applications will then be assessed on two mandatory business pre-conditions, assessing accredited status and relevant experience. There will be no scored evaluation criteria, as suppliers will be selected solely on their ability to fulfil the pre-conditions. This is due to the limited pool of suppliers we predict will be available to provide these services. This Panel category is part of our wider Business Transformation Approved Panel (BTAP). More information can be found by reading the Notice of Procurement (NoP - attached). If you'd like to find out more having read it, then please refer to section 1.4 which details the next steps required. Additional clinics may be required to fill a regional gap, to replace clinics removed from the panel or as needs change and additional capacity is required.
